As an Application Specialist professional, you will be part of Emerson's Liquid Management Solutions Team, playing a crucial role in building and implementing project-specific standards, improving solutions, and benchmarking performance metrics. Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer support requests, leading implementations, conducting internal R&D initiatives, and reviewing technical design specifications. You will also participate in testing, issue triage and tracking, and collaborate with technical teams and business partners to achieve project objectives effectively. In this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical skills, a deep commitment to quality, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You will be required to document client business processes, make recommendations for improvements, and interact with various client groups to provide technical support. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of software development, with proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft .NET Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies. To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 3 to 10 years of experience in software development, a BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical equivalent, and familiarity with Azure Cloud computing. Preferred qualifications include experience in project lifecycles, good communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry. Experience with tools like Crystal Reports, Microsoft SSRS, and database management systems like Oracle would be advantageous.
