This role will report into the Manager of the General Mills Process Automation Talent Acceleration Center (TAC) and functionally collaborate with our Global Process Automation Team. In this technical role, the Lead Process Automation Engineer will help drive the success of digital transformation, Low Code, and Automation efforts at General Mills, by leading, designing, and delivering innovative solutions leveraging multiple technologies such as Low Code No code, Workflow, API Integrations, Cloud, Bots, Automate Evolve for SAP, AI/ML, and Agents. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Managers, Architects, and the team to grasp the product vision and roadmap. Assist in the design, development, support, and maintenance of Automations and Custom Low Code Applications. (Web UI, Workflows, CRUD Apps.) Analyse and address complex, multi-faceted issues across the entire technology stack, necessitating collaboration across teams and technology boundaries. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education - A full-time degree from an accredited university is required (Note: This is the minimum educational requirement and cannot be changed) A Bachelor s degree in Information systems, Computer science, or a related field is necessary. 12-13 years of relevant experience in design, hands-on development, Full Stack Development, DevOps, & Database Development is required. Proficiency with development technologies such as Microsoft C# .NET CORE, Python, Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Expertise in front-end frameworks, preferably REACT and Angular, is needed.
