Job Description

Role Description:

  • Contribute to the technical implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, including environment setup, module configuration, data migration, and deployment.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of ERP components during the discovery phase, ensuring technical feasibility and business alignment.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into technical designs and functional workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft best practices and industry standards throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Manage D365 F&O environments, including development, testing, and production setups.
  • Establish and maintain Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes, including version control and release management using Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring stability and scalability.
  • Develop, test, and deploy customizations and extensions for D365 F&O using X++, C#, and .NET.
  • Build custom workflows, plugins, and business logic to enhance standard ERP functionalities.
  • Design and implement role-based security models, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Create custom dashboards, reports, and analytics using Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting tools.
  • Implement RESTful APIs, OData services, and Webhooks for seamless integration with external systems.
  • Strong expertise in API integration with third-party tools and services within the D365 F&O environment.
  • Proficiency in Azure tools, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Power Platform tools like Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, ETL processes, and data migration techniques.
  • Optimize database queries and indexing to ensure high performance for custom and standard processes.
  • Customize forms, fields, and entities within D365 F&O to meet specific business needs.
  • Use Azure DevOps for version control, build pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Perform reverse engineering and impact analysis for existing customizations during upgrades or migrations.
  • Strong understanding of core D365 F&O modules such as Finance, SCM, HR, and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to design and optimize business processes for ERP implementation.
  • Experience in preparing and executing UAT plans and supporting go-live activities.
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.

Required Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (architecture, configuration, customization, and integration).
  • Proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Power Platform.
  • Experience in D365 F&O Data Management Framework (DMF) for data migration and integration.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, DevOps pipelines).
  • Expertise in Power BI and SSRS for reporting and analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with technical and non-[1] technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within deadlines.
