Role Overview: As the Manager of Information Systems at Amgen, you will have the unique opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative engineering team within the AI & Data Science organization. Your main focus will be on developing next-generation capabilities and services in Applied AI & Automation using a variety of cutting-edge technologies. You will play a crucial role in demonstrating these capabilities to support critical business operations and initiatives, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance across Amgen's Applied AI & Automation Footprint. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and build a global team of Automation and DevOps engineers to contribute to the internal AI & Automation Platforms and Solutions management practice - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning in emerging AI and automation technologies - Oversee the development and lifecycle management of AI & automation solutions using tools like UiPath, Celonis, and DocuSign - Ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards - Drive DevOps solution engineering practices for platform and solutions availability, performance monitoring, incident management, and cost optimization of AI and automation services - Manage relationships with business partners to ensure service levels are met and derive the best value from investments - Analyze customer feedback and support data to identify opportunities for service improvement - Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the enterprise/domain/automation/solution architecture - Provide leadership and engineering expertise for end-to-end automations that span multiple systems - Establish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and best practices Qualifications Required: - Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 8 - 13 years of experience - Expertise in Intelligent Automation with experience in tools like UiPath & Power Automate, GenAI Tools/LLMs, and Agentic AI - Experience leading engineering teams and working in agile methodology - Extensive knowledge of common automation and AI design patterns - Experience with a variety of programming languages, automation and AI platforms, development frameworks, and Cloud Platforms - Ability to align business requirements to technical solutions in a regulated environment Please note that Amgen is committed to providing equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities, including reasonable accommodations during the job application or interview process.
