Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead our aligner manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing large-scale production lines with a workforce of 200-300 people. They should also be skilled in process automation, driving efficiency, and ensuring production quality to meet our business goals. Key responsibilities: - Manage a workforce of 200-300 people, optimizing manpower, machinery, materials, and scheduling to meet production targets efficiently. - Implement automation and process improvements to boost productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations using data-driven insights. - Ensure consistent product quality by collaborating with quality assurance teams and maintaining compliance with industry standards. - Lead workforce training and development, focusing on safety, skill enhancement, and productivity optimization. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production yield, equipment downtime, labor efficiency, and cost control. - Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, ensure consistent supply, and manage inventory to balance stock levels and reduce lead times. - Oversee timely and cost-efficient dispatch of aligners and products, coordinating with logistics partners to optimize delivery and minimize costs. - Ensure safety compliance on the production floor and manage the production budget to align with business goals. - Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and continuous operational improvements. Requirements: Experience: 4-8 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role overseeing a large production line (200-300 people). Experience in aligner or medical device manufacturing is preferred. Process Automation: Proven experience in driving process automation and implementing efficiency-enhancing solutions in manufacturing. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. MBA or a Master's in Operations Management is a plus. Skills: - Strong leadership and team management skills with experience handling large workforces. - Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. - In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, automation systems, and quality control. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making skills. - Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and experience ensuring compliance on the production floor.
