As a Press Tool Design Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to plan, design, model, and detail press parts and tools. This includes the preparation of method plans, design, drafting, detailing, and 3D finishing. You will also be involved in the creation of Component Bill of Materials (BOM) and component costing. Implementing new tool design concepts to increase tool life and reduce operation costs by modifying tooling design will be essential aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing proto samples according to customer requirements. This will require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to translate customer needs into practical design solutions. This position requires a qualification of BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in press tool design and a sound understanding of mechanical principles. In this role, you will be working full-time on a schedule that may include day shifts and rotational shifts.
