About the Job: We are currently seeking Technical Leads in low carbon technologies with a focus on the application and implementation of low carbon technologies that results in Low carbon fuels and carbon reduction to join our team based in Chennai, Mumbai, and Noida. This includes: Green Ammonia and Methanol. Circularity (plastic recycling). Carbon capture Biofuels (SAF, ethanol-X, marine biofuels) Responsibilities: Technical lead for projects/studies in any one of the above-mentioned technologies (preferred carbon capture). This will include feasibility studies, business case development, configuration, technology selection, performance estimates, cost estimating, and technical due diligence. Providing input and details on scope, execution, and schedule for Study Proposals in any one of the above-mentioned technologies. This will include leading and supporting written proposals. Provide necessary support in sales opportunities, demonstrating expertise while explaining options. Help business development team in preparing technical proposals and representations as needed. Identify technology startups, research institutes, consultants working in low carbon technologies and explore techno commercial alignment with them. Training process engineers to execute projects in above mentioned technologies. Serve as a specialist across all operating centers in India. Deliver expertise in non-standard or complex projects as lead and provide guidance to team during project execution. Handling of technical queries from clients during and after project execution. About You Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: Post graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering and minimum overall experience of 15 years of which at least 5 years in any of the mentioned technologies. Familiarity with the commercial and latest Carbon Capture technologies and the comparison with each is an added advantage. Process modelling knowledge using Aspen/HYSYS, PROII. Good knowledge and interest in developing new process designs and layouts. Should be capable of driving the conceptual studies independently. Candidates with Technology licensor /OEM background is preferred but not mandatory.

Lead the technology input into the root cause analysis of complex process/engineering issues. Define improvements and upgrades in existing processes / equipment / technologies to reach higher capacities, higher process efficiencies. Identify, justify and prioritize plant improvements for PIOs, CAPEX, REVAMP projects and support its implementation. Review process engineering documents. Technology / catalyst / chemicals / additives / fuels evaluation. Audit and benchmark plant/ product / energy performance. Ensure achievement of set milestones for pilot / scale up studied. Anticipate constraints / trends in technology and product application range and review and recommend alternatives for implementation. Participate in commercial plant trial. Develop, validate, customize & maintain simulation / APC models. Preparation of final technology comparison reports. Participate in PSM activities. To coach/mentor and support the on-boarding and development of the GETs (technology) Skill & Competencies Has a thorough knowledge of chemical engineering, codes and standards, and of process technology in respective domain. Works independently, takes independent actions on technical issues within the field of expertise.
