Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, Civil) or Business Administration/Marketing. An MBA or equivalent is highly desirable. 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development or sales within the Indian solar power sector, with demonstrable success in both rooftop and ground-mounted projects. Proven track record of B2B sales (selling to commercial, industrial, utility clients) and B2C sales (selling to residential customers) in the solar industry. In-depth knowledge of solar PV technology, including modules, inverters, mounting structures, and balance of system components. Strong understanding of solar project economics, financial models (OPEX, CAPEX), subsidies, and policy frameworks (e.g., net metering, open access regulations) in India. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into viable business solutions. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
