Role Purpose: This position will be responsible for Metallic commodity and will be based at New Delhi Plant. This position will be responsible for ensuring quality and compliance of supplier-produced parts by reviewing and approving Global PPAP submissions in the PPAP module. Major Accountabilities: PPAP Review & Approval: Evaluate submitted Global PPAP documentation and samples from suppliers against the organization's quality requirements and customer specifications. Verify the completeness and accuracy of PPAP package elements, including Design Records, Engineering Change Documents, Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, Dimensional Results, Material Certifications, and Test Results. Utilize the PPAP module/system to review, track, and document the approval status of each suppliers PPAP submission. Approve or reject PPAP submissions based on compliance with quality standards, documenting reasons and feedback for rejections. Supplier Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with suppliers to resolve PPAP discrepancies, non-conformances, or incomplete submissions. Facilitate corrective actions and re-submissions as necessary to ensure all PPAP requirements are met. Coordinate cross-functional communication between engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams regarding PPAP statuses and concerns. Process Improvement: Identify trends in PPAP submissions and common non-compliance issues. Recommend improvements to supplier quality processes and PPAP requirements to mitigate risks. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of PPAP reviews, approvals, and correspondence within the PPAP module/system. Generate reports on PPAP submission status, supplier quality performance, and approval cycle times. Ensure compliance with CNH and industry quality standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949). Leadership/Team Management Responsibility: Self-driven personality Speedy & aggressive in achieving organizational objectives on time. Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Language(s): Education/Qualifications (Min): Diploma / Graduate Mechanical Engineer Essential experience and skills: 3~10 years of experience in OEM or Auto ancillary in Supplier Quality function. Preferably Female Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple PPAP submissions simultaneously. Experience with global supplier base and managing multi-location PPAP reviews. Knowledge of other quality tools such as APQP, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis. Proficient in PPAP module/system software and MS Office tools. Excellent communication skills for effective supplier interaction. Should be well versed with Metallic commodity parts & review. New Part development process exposure in Metallic commodity. Job Profile 1. This role is responsible for sourcing of Metallic commodity Casting & machining parts for Tractor, Harvester i.e Sugar cane & combines, Baler, Loader, Cabin etc. 2. The role will guarantee that the sourcing is rightfully made in accordance with local/global strategy to ensure the competitiveness, reliability and sustainability Major Accountabilities: Primary and Secondary duties: Manage RFQ process, present Pre-RFQ, Commercial negotiation and preparation of recommendation according to defined DoA in line to commodity strategy. Achieve annual cost negotiations (YOY, RM fluctuations, commercial cost reduction etc;) and support VA/VE initiatives Raw Material market intelligence & publishing monthly MIS Engage with key stake holders, both global & domestic, for sourcing & other commodity initiatives for commodity. Maintain and improve the relationship with key Suppliers Monitor, manage, and address the risks of supply base in delivery, finance & capacity Develop Lean supply chain to manage demand volatility and requirements New product part development as per project cost and timeline Leadership/Team Management Responsibility: Cross functional collaboration & Lead improvement projects Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Language(s): Education/Qualifications: Degree BE / B tech (Mechanical) Essential experience and skills: 1. 8+ years of experience in Automotive/ Industrial industry preferred 2. Held positions in direct purchasing/ sourcing in a matrix environment 3. The candidate should have knowledge of various manufacturing processes Casting, machining, heat treatment, painting, assembly processes etc 4. Experienced in sourcing, quality, costing, stakeholder management (including global businesses), team working, integrated supply chain, etc. 5. Understanding of supplier base, process knowledge, zero base costing/cost analysis & basic financial knowledge 6. Inclination towards strategic thinking, change management and negotiation skills 7.
