Role Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager - Steel E-Mart. Purpose - Why does this role exist? Responsible for overall coordination with IT team associated with Steel E-mart Portal, Local Plant Auction Team, Local and Corporate Sales Audit team for smooth functioning of auction sales activities through Steel E-mart portal Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators) 1) Leading cross-functional teams, including Plant Auction, Sales Audit, and IT, to ensure seamless operation of the Steel E-Mart Portal 2) Reviewing and approving enhancements or modifications to online portal capabilities 3) Review and approve auction schedules, including any updates or modifications suggested by teams. 4) Supporting the sales audit team and ensuring adherence to audit requirements Key activities 1) Auction Operations Management : Oversee end-to-end auction activities on the online portal. 2) Auction Planning & Scheduling : Approve auction schedules and changes proposed by the team. 3) Team Management : Manage team approvals, task assignments, and operational decisions. 4) Portal Development & Maintenance: Review and approve new features or changes to portal functionalities. 5) Product & Plant Integration: Authorize additions of new plants or product families to the portal. 6) Approval Process: Provide initial approval for approval requests before escalation. 7) Reporting & Validation: Review and validate reports for senior leadership presentations. 8) Procurement Documentation: Authorize key procurement documents, including PRs and POs. 9) Sales Audit Oversight: Facilitate sales audits and ensure compliance with requirements. 10) Seller Agreement Management: Oversee agreements between the portal and plants. 11) New Company Onboarding : Evaluate and guide the onboarding of new companies for auction activities. 12) External Audit Support: Provide guidance and responses to auditors queries during external audits. 13) Plant Coordination: Ensure smooth operations by coordinating with plant teams handling secondary and store products. Educational Background and Work Experience 1) Graduate with MBA 2) Graduate with MBA with minimum 12 – 14 years of experience in Steel sales activities preferably though online portal 3) Industry: Steel or other Manufacturing preferably in the Metals space Competencies 1) Experience of using Online Portal for Sales Process 2) Strong understanding of sales & dispatch process of steel industry 3) Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management. 4) Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
