Excelra is currently seeking passionate and detail-oriented professionals for the role of Omics Metadata Annotation and Harmonization Specialist / Data Asset Creator / Subject Matter Expert . If you have a strong background in life sciences and a keen interest in enhancing the quality and usability of large-scale omics datasets, we would love to connect with you! About the Role: As part of our dynamic team, you will: Curate and annotate omics metadata (genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics). Apply controlled vocabularies and ontologies (e.g., MeSH, GO, EFO) to ensure data consistency. Harmonize metadata across diverse datasets to support integrative research. Uphold FAIR data principles to enable seamless data integration and analysis. What Were Looking For: Ph.D./M.Sc./M.Tech in Life Sciences with strong domain knowledge. Experience with molecular biology techniques and omics data interpretation. Familiarity with repositories like GEO, ArrayExpress, NCBI, and ontologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Bonus Skills: Experience in metadata curation and harmonization. Knowledge of Linux, BASH scripting, R, or cloud computing.
