You are invited to join our team as a Network & Voice Operations Engineer in Chennai. With 2 to 4 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in NOC operations, focusing on incident management, voice technologies, and messaging systems. As part of our 24/7 operational environment, your proactive approach and strong communication skills will be essential. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network operations round the clock, triaging incidents, conducting health checks, and collaborating with teams to resolve issues effectively. Additionally, you will be managing incidents using ITSM tools, ensuring SLA adherence, and following ITIL best practices. In the domain of voice operations, you will support VoIP systems, troubleshoot SIP, RTP, and SBC issues, analyze call flows, and maintain documentation for voice infrastructure. While experience in messaging support is preferred, it is not mandatory. Basic understanding of SMS/MMS flows and familiarity with SMSC, SMPP, and message routing will be advantageous. Key skills and competencies required for this role include hands-on experience in NOC or Network Operations, strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, incident management tools, and monitoring systems. Excellent communication skills, a willingness to work 24x7 shifts, including nights and weekends, are essential requirements. Having knowledge of SMS C, SMPP protocols, and SMS/MMS routing will be beneficial. Qualifications such as a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, along with industry certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, will be advantageous in this role.
