As an MES Testing specialist, you will collaborate with the service manager to define project tasks, assess task duration, and report progress to the service manager. You should be proficient in working independently under the guidance of technical leads and capable of identifying and resolving technical issues related to software development, branch conflicts, releases, and engineering tasks. Additionally, you will be expected to apply project best practices, facilitate operational streamlining, and participate in testing and validation processes, including the creation of validation tests. To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in MES interface with 3rd party systems such as automation systems (e.g., DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, Siemens SIMATIC Batch, Rockwell PLCs/SCADA). Proficiency in programming languages like C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, and Python is essential, along with experience in Mendix programming. Strong knowledge of software release management across multiple environments (e.g., DEV, QA, PROD) is required, including handling pull requests, merge operations, solution building, deployment, unit testing, and regression testing. Familiarity with tools like Team Foundation Server and Jira is highly recommended, as well as previous experience in Application Management Services (AMS) support.
