MERN Stack Developer

As a seasoned MERN Stack Developer at Bix Bytes Solutions, you will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle, focusing on creating exceptional UIs and robust microservice backends. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic user interfaces for products using React.js and modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks. - Constructing and managing well-functioning databases and applications through clean and efficient code for microservice backends. - Contributing to the creation of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and iterative product enhancements as part of the product development team. - Engaging in end-to-end feature development to ensure delivery of full-stack solutions from concept to deployment. - Working within a challenging environment, utilizing advanced technical implementations to solve complex problems. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and achieve product development objectives, including UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers. - Optimizing applications for maximum speed, scalability, and data security while adhering to best practices in code, architecture, and processes. - Writing unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of software components, maintaining code integrity and ensuring responsive application design for various devices. - Engaging in code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement of the application codebase for maintainability and scalability. - Monitoring and improving front-end performance, as well as documenting application changes and development updates. - Staying updated on developments in web applications and programming languages, applying cutting-edge knowledge to the technology stack. Qualifications: - Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in MERN stack development. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles. - Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). - Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript. - Experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs. - Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. - Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools. - Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
