As an Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Associate Consultant, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing Informatica MDM solutions as per project requirements. You will be actively engaged in all phases of the software development life cycle, encompassing requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Your responsibilities will include configuring and customizing Informatica MDM Hub components, such as data modeling, workflows, match and merge rules, and user interfaces. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and optimizing data integration processes and APIs to facilitate efficient data movement and synchronization. Collaboration with business users, data stewards, and other stakeholders will be essential to comprehend data requirements and implement data quality rules and processes. You will also be responsible for performing data profiling, data cleansing, and data standardization activities. Furthermore, your role will involve conducting data mapping and transformation using Informatica MDM and ETL tools, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Informatica MDM implementation. Another crucial aspect of your role will be the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, comprising technical specifications, solution designs, and test plans. It is imperative to stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Informatica MDM and data management technologies to ensure you are equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge in the field. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Informatica MDM development and implementation is required. A strong understanding of master data management concepts and principles is essential, along with proficiency in Informatica MDM Hub, including data modeling and configuration. Experience with Informatica Data Director, Informatica Data Quality, and other Informatica MDM components will be advantageous. Moreover, you should possess knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data governance principles. Strong SQL and database skills are necessary, with familiarity in Oracle, SQL Server, or other databases. Additionally, a good grasp of web services, RESTful APIs, and XML is preferred. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with good communication and teamwork abilities, are crucial for success in this role.,
