We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to oversee end-to-end merchandising operations from client communication and sampling to production coordination and final dispatch. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in managing timelines, ensuring buyer compliance, and facilitating seamless cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality products on schedule. Key Responsibilities Manage daily communication with international clients, buying houses, and brand representatives. Review tech packs, prepare costings, and handle sample submissions and approvals. Create and monitor Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure all milestones are met. Coordinate with internal teams across sampling, sourcing, production, and quality assurance. Liaise with vendors for timely procurement of fabric, trims, embellishments, and accessories. Ensure all pre-production approvals are secured and buyer compliance documentation is complete. Support logistics and dispatch planning to meet delivery timelines. Maintain and update internal trackers, reports, and merchandising dashboards. Participate in internal review meetings and provide updates on order status. Supervise and mentor junior merchandising staff as required. Candidate Profile Experience: 2 to 6 years in merchandising for apparel or textile export houses. Skills: Strong communication and client-handling skills. Proficient in costings, T&A planning, and production coordination. Sound understanding of export documentation and ethical compliance standards. Advanced knowledge of Excel, reporting tools, and professional email communication. Traits: Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing tight deadlines. Preferred: Exposure to sustainable, organic, or ethical product categories.
