As a Lead Network Administrator based in Pune with 3-8 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in our Network Infra team. Your primary responsibility will involve the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Network infrastructure in a Hybrid setup. You will be responsible for implementing and managing various Network equipments/devices, including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls hosted on-premises and on the cloud. A good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, and DNS is essential for this role. Additionally, familiarity with Networking products like Cisco Catalyst, Meraki, VeloCloud, AWS & Azure Networking will be required. Your key responsibilities will include configuring and maintaining Meraki MX security appliances, MS switches, MR wireless access points, and VeloCloud SD-WAN Edge, Gateways, and orchestrator. You will also be involved in setting up Azure VPCs, routing between cloud & On-prem, VPNs, firewall rules, and other network configurations while troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues. Monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations using tools like Meraki Dashboard and SolarWinds center will be part of your routine tasks. Additionally, you will maintain documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and network diagrams, ensuring network security through the implementation and management of security policies and firewall rules. Collaborating with other IT teams and potentially external vendors to implement and maintain the network infrastructure is critical. You will also configure and manage Meraki wireless access points, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and troubleshoot network problems using various methods. To excel in this role, you must possess strong skills in configuring and managing network services, L2 technologies, L3 technologies, device security, router security features, IPsec internet-based secure cloud connectivity, and network security principles. Certifications like CCNA, CCNP Enterprise (ENCOR, ENCC), Comptia N+, Comptia Cloud+, and Cisco Meraki Certifications will be advantageous. Apart from technical skills, soft skills are equally important in this role. Strong communication and documentation skills, a collaborative mindset, proactive and self-driven attitude with attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this position.,
