Job Description

MEP Engineer

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system performance checks.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Coordinate MEP site works, installations, and commissioning activities with contractors and internal teams.
Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance logs, fault reports, and system performance summaries.
Update asset registers, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
Ensure all operations comply with
safety standards, SOPs, and local regulations
.
Supervise third-party vendors, verify SLA adherence, and evaluate service quality.
Support internal and external audits, inspections, and emergency response protocols.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering
(or equivalent). -35 years of hands-on experience in
MEP facility management or site-based engineering
.
Proven experience in
HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection
maintenance.
Familiarity with
preventive maintenance programs, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
, and commissioning processes.
Strong knowledge of
safety standards (OSHA, local codes)
and compliance procedures.
Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

Experience with
BMS (Building Management Systems)
or smart building technologies.
Certification in
Facility Management (FM), OSHA, or energy efficiency
.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, or CMMS tools.
