Position: MEP Engineer Qualification: B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical Experience: 5–7 years (preferably with reputed real estate residential developers or large-scale residential construction companies in Delhi NCR) Working Days: 6 Days Key Responsibilities (KRAs): 1. Project Management – New Construction: Plan, design, review, and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Fighting, and HVAC works for residential projects. Coordinate with consultants, architects, and contractors for MEP design approvals and implementation. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations in all MEP works. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks for MEP services. Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications. Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and assist in vendor evaluation and selection. Ensure timely availability of utilities (power, water, HVAC, lifts, etc.) for seamless project handover. Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements. Liaise with statutory bodies for approvals related to electrical, fire, and plumbing systems. 2. Operations & Maintenance – Running Projects: Manage upkeep, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of MEP systems in operational residential communities. Ensure smooth functioning of DG sets, HVAC, lifts, firefighting systems, plumbing, water treatment plants (WTP), sewage treatment plants (STP), and electrical systems. Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure adherence by facility management teams/vendors. Monitor energy consumption, water usage, and recommend energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions. Address resident complaints related to MEP services with prompt and effective solutions. Conduct audits of service providers/vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery. Prepare periodic reports on maintenance activities, downtime, and corrective actions. Support AMC negotiations and vendor management for critical equipment. Desired Skills & Attributes: Strong technical expertise in MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Firefighting). Proven experience in both project execution and facility/maintenance management . Excellent coordination and communication skills to work with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
