We are now recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for Senior Engineer (Process Mechanical) to work on our projects in Navi Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyderabad. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the preliminary and detail design of process mechanical systems associated with municipal and industrial water and/or wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations. You will work independently as well as with a team on various projects in line with client requirements. Additionally, you will lead and supervise the design team to ensure the project is delivered with high quality within the program and budget. Your role will also involve liaising with the lead region to demonstrate an understanding of scope, knowledge, and experience to provide innovative design solutions as per best engineering practices. Collaboration with other design disciplines will be essential to ensure the integrity of the overall design. Diligent focus on the quality of deliverables, managing project budget and schedule, building a profile in the industry, and keeping up-to-date with innovations and developments are key aspects of this role. Furthermore, coaching & mentoring of junior staff and compliance with Arcadis Health and Safety standards are vital responsibilities. Qualifications & Experience: - B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical, Civil, and Environmental Engineering from a recognized University. M.E/M. Tech desirable. - 5 to 10 years of experience in designing mechanical and process equipment for water supply & water treatment plants, sewerage & sewage treatment plants, and drainage systems. Required Competencies: - Proficiency in designing and analyzing hydraulic systems such as pump stations, including pumps, valves, and pipelines. - Knowledge of Auto CAD MEP, MEP Revit, Navisworks is a must. - Ability to prepare and check general specifications, mechanical specifications, contract documents, etc. - Hands-on experience with site supervision, construction support, and commissioning activities. - Experience in the review of P&ID drawings related to the water and wastewater treatment process. - Strong technical background and capability to design raw and potable water pumping stations, sewage pumping stations, particularly in association with pumps and associated piping, preparation of pump curve, selection of pumps, air blowers, chlorination equipment building services, etc. - Exposure to piping standards for ductile iron and/or steel large diameter pipes and drafting material specification is a must. - Knowledge of international codes, standards, and practices related to UK/Middle East/USA water industry is preferable. - Understanding of health and safety standards and environmental regulations. - Experience within a consultancy environment specifically in the water/wastewater industry will be preferred. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language, with good report writing, analytical, and computer skills. Required competencies: Ability to design, perform hydraulic calculations, produce process-mechanical equipment specifications and generate Layout of pump station, and treatment plants. Site experience and/or execution of projects is desirable. Knowledge of Auto CAD MEP, MEP Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 and ACC is preferable. Good understanding of P&ID drawings related to the water and wastewater treatment processes. Experience in preparation of valve, pipework, equipment, access and lifting schedules. Possess technical background and capability to design raw and potable water pumping station, sewage pumping stations, particularly in association with pumps and associated piping, preparation of pumping system calculations, of system resistance curve, selection of pumps, process equipment and, building services etc. Exposure to piping standards for ductile iron, and/or steel, HDPE, PVC and other pipework large diameter pipes and drafting of material specification is a must. Experience to select and provide material handling system. Knowledge of international codes, standards and practices related to USA/UK/Middle East water industry is preferable. Experience within a consultancy environment, specifically in the water/wastewater industry will be preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language, with good report writing, analytical and computer skills. An out- of- the- box thinker with the ability to deliver under pressure is desirable. Qualifications & Experience: B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University. M.E/M. Tech desirable. 2 to 7 years experience in designing the mechanical and process systems / equipment for water supply water treatment plants, sewerage & sewage treatment plants, Industrial Treatment systems and drainage systems. Sound technical knowledge, to be able to perform independent design and review the work of graduate engineers and CAD technicians/modelers. Oversees the design, planning, and implementation of HVAC systems in buildings. Must have a strong understanding of HVAC engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines. Job Summary Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects. Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Approves and signs off on work. Presents complex technical solutions to clients. Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others. Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects. Minimum Requirements 10 - 15 years of experience working in HVAC design. To work for the design of the residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. Experience in the design of the HVAC (Central cooling plant, chilled water piping distribution, air duct distribution, variable air volume systems, ventilation, DX systems, VRF, etc.) Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations, and technical standards. Experience in HVAC software (IES, HAP, Trace, and Elite), MEP Revit, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering field.
