MEP Design Manager

Urgently required MEP Design Manager for well-known leading Real-Estate company located at Kanjurmarg Location. 

An MEP design engineer in the real estate industry is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for buildings, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and integrated into the overall project. They create detailed designs, manage subcontractors, conduct site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems meet building codes and project timelines and budgets. Key responsibilities include system design, coordination, budgeting, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards for residential, commercial, and institutional properties.

• Design & Planning

  : Develop detailed designs for mechanical (HVAC, ventilation), electrical (power, lighting), and plumbing (water supply, drainage) systems for buildings of all sizes, from residential to large commercial projects.   

• Coordination

  : Work with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems with the overall building design and structure.   

• Regulatory Compliance

  : Ensure all designs and installations meet local, national, and international building codes, safety standards, and energy efficiency regulations.   

• Project Management

  : Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring MEP systems are completed on time and within budget.   

• Site Management

  : Conduct site inspections and quality control checks during the construction phase, overseeing subcontractors and resolving technical issues.   

• Documentation

  : Prepare detailed project reports, technical documentation, and as-built drawings.   

• Technical Support

  : Provide technical support to other team members and stakeholders involved in the project.   

• Diverse Applications

  : MEP engineers work on a wide range of real estate projects, including residential apartments, commercial office buildings, retail spaces, hospitals, schools, and industrial facilities.   

• Sustainability

  : Focus on designing efficient and sustainable systems that reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.   

• Innovation

  : Incorporate the latest technologies and innovative solutions to enhance building functionality and occupant comfort.   

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is typically required.   
• Expertise in MEP design software, such as Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, is essential.   
• Strong understanding of MEP codes and standards.   
• Skills in project management, budgeting, and problem-solving.   
• Experience in supervising site work and managing contractors is crucial.
