Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for an MEP BIM Coordinator. The MEP BIM Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing BIM processes related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in building projects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with different disciplines, ensuring seamless integration of MEP models, facilitating collaboration between project teams, troubleshooting design conflicts, and maintaining adherence to project standards and deadlines. The role involves delivering efficient, high-quality BIM models to support project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination to support accurate and efficient project workflows
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems with hands-on experience in handling MEP-related aspects of projects
• Foundational knowledge in architecture and design concepts to aid in interdisciplinary project collaboration
• Project Management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple aspects of the project to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse project teams
• A degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience in the AEC industry within a BIM environment is highly desirable
• Proficiency in relevant BIM software and tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP, or similar
