PURPOSE: The Curriculum & Content Associate will be responsible for researching, designing, and producing evidence-based mentoring sessions and activities that build work readiness and well-being among college-going youth from low-income backgrounds. This role blends instructional design, applied research, and content creation for a digital-first learning platform. In addition, the Associate will support Mentor Together s communications team by creating learning-related social media content and supporting other storytelling projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Curriculum Research & Development (50%) Conduct literature reviews and secondary research on themes such as life skills, employability, mentorship, and the future of work. Translate insights into structured concept notes and session designs aligned with Mentor Together s relationship-centered mentoring approach. Create high-quality, engaging curriculum materials tailored for digital learning environments. Collaborate with language experts to adapt content for translation and localization. Curriculum Review & Feedback Integration (20%) Gather feedback from mentors and mentees on session content and delivery experience. Analyze usage patterns and qualitative feedback to assess curriculum effectiveness and suggest improvements. Social Media & Communications (20%) Collaborate with internal teams to source stories, updates, and program milestones for social media. Draft and schedule posts aligned with the communications calendar and Mentor Together s brand tone. Monitor platform trends and audience engagement to optimize content style and format. Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and provide actionable insights. Support community interaction by responding to queries and comments across platforms. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (e. g. , psychology, education, social sciences); postgraduate qualification preferred. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, especially in the life skills or employability space. Familiarity with digital learning tools or prior experience in digital content creation.
