Mendix Lead Developer - Java/J2EE

You will work closely with cross-functional teams using agile principles like SCRUM and collaborate with business partners throughout the application development lifecycle to prototype, create, iterate, and deploy apps. Your role will involve helping business developers create and maintain apps with quality and consistency by leveraging your existing programming experience to share best practices. Additionally, you will design scalable application architectures to support new business models and products while building apps using low-code development tools. You will also extend low-code development tools and applications by coding reusable front-end components and back-end integration modules. Preferred technical qualifications for this role include a minimum of 3 years experience in Java/J2EE with relational database structure and design, as well as a minimum of 5 years in Mendix Application Development. Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, along with agile experience, is required. React experience is a plus, and SCRUM certification is preferred. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins and Visual Studio Team Services, as well as experience with Docker, is also beneficial. An intermediate/advanced certification is required. Basic qualifications for this position include a Bachelors/Master of computer application degree.
