Member of Technical Staff

As a Test Framework Developer at Wind River, you will play a crucial role in the eLxr development teams. Your primary responsibility will involve developing, implementing, and certifying test environment setups for safety-critical featured products utilized by Telecom, Aerospace, Industrial, and Automotive customers. From requirements development to implementation and verification, you will actively contribute to the entire test framework lifecycle. Collaboration with the product management team and system architects will be pivotal to comprehend and execute requested features effectively. Your tasks will encompass the enhancement of test strategies and cases for eLxr, a Debian derivative, facilitating Wind River's expansion in new embedded and enterprise market segments. Initiative-taking to enhance features and processes, proposing ideas for product enhancements, and seamless collaboration with global software engineering teams will be integral to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Developing test strategies and cases for eLxr to support Wind River's growth in new market segments. - Taking the initiative to enhance features and processes. - Contributing ideas for product improvements and iterations. - Collaborating efficiently with global software engineering teams. Your Profile: With a minimum of 5 years of experience in test infrastructure development, you are adept at driver and board-level system software test development and integration. Your expertise extends to developing test frameworks or test cases using languages like C, Python, Go, or others. You possess experience in testing and automation within agile and continuous delivery models, capable of developing test cases based on various requirements and test strategies. Familiarity with tools like LAVA, Git, Jira, and the Linux environment is also part of your skill set. Qualifications: - BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent. - 5+ years of software development, verification & validation experience. - Proficiency in C, Python (Design Patterns), Go, and Debian Fundamentals. - Experience in testing and automation in agile and continuous delivery models. - Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong analytical and debugging skills. - Experience in developing testing automation frameworks / Test Manager. - Working experience with Emulators. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. - Successfully delivered to NA & EMEA customers.,
