Job Description

As a Technical Staff at Adobe working on the development of the InDesign product, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the analysis, design, and programming for major software releases. Your responsibilities will include interfacing with product management to evaluate new features, developing methods for obtaining results, and applying advanced concepts and technologies within the team. Your expertise in C/C++ assembly, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design will be essential for the maintenance and development of features. **Key Responsibilities:** - Contribute extensively in analysis, design, and programming for major and dot software releases. - Interface with product management to evaluate and determine new features. - Develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. - Be an expert on one or more platforms, knowledgeable of cross-platform issues, competitive products, and customer requirements. - Contribute significantly towards the development and application of advanced concepts, technologies, and expertise within the team. **Qualifications Required:** - B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from a premier institute. - 2 to 4 years of hands-on design/development experience. - Proficiency in C/C++ assembly, data structures, and algorithms. - Good understanding of object-oriented design, product life cycles, and associated issues. - Knowledge of application development on multiple platforms including various flavors of Windows and Macintosh. - Excellent computer science fundamentals and understanding of architecture, design, and performance. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Familiarity with working in a fast-paced global environment.
