We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Doctor (Intensivist) to join our multidisciplinary ICU team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of critically ill patients requiring intensive care, including those with life-threatening conditions in need of advanced support and monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including those on mechanical ventilation, dialysis, or other advanced life support systems. Lead multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate care with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals. Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures (e.g., intubation, central line placement, arterial line insertion, chest tube placement). Respond to emergencies such as cardiac arrests, trauma cases, and sepsis within the ICU and in other hospital areas as needed. This role will be integral to upstream activities, enhancing field productivity, ensuring reserves, and safeguarding system integrity. As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts at our Technical Center (Houston) to maintain alignment on workflows and ensure technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Analyze geomechanical challenges including fracturing, fault reactivation, subsidence/compaction, PI decline, fractured injector performance, wellbore stability, sand production, and induced seismicity. Develop and ensure quality assurance of Finite Element meshes for reservoir and well-scale models. Populate numerical geomechanical models with geological, geophysical data, rock properties, and relevant pressure and temperature conditions, in collaboration with our Technical Center experts. Execute numerical geomechanics models and manage results data repository. Conduct Finite Element modeling and coupled flow and geomechanics modeling. Create, manage, and analyze Mechanical Earth Models (MEM). Qualifications: Mid-career level experience in geomechanics, petrophysics, or related fields. Strong understanding of upstream operations and geomechanical modeling. Experience in working with Finite Element modeling, mechanical earth models, and coupled geomechanics modeling. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts. Knowledge of shale and tight, carbon sequestration, deepwater, and heavy oil assets is a plus.
