Production of all grades of steel on Concast machine. Machine maintenance Sequence planning. Maintaining and analyzing all datas of Production and maintenance. Exposure training & theoretical knowledge to overall continuous casting plant component such as ladle, tundish and heights, m/c length, radius, casting o/p ratings and strand cross section, process limit (steel grade, dimension) etc. Exposure training to positioning and support facilities, oscillating table, mould oscillation and stroke length, Mould material, length and dimension, solidification phenomena, friction forces and Ferro static pressure between strand shell and mould, primary and secondary cooling system, EMS system, strand straighter, hydraulic pressure, bulging factor, spray nozzle etc. Responsible for smooth running of the whole steel melt shop by coordinating internally with EAF, LF, caster, Lime Plant, Ferro alloy store, Slag, scrap& ladle management & with external departments like blast furnace, corex, hot metal management, HBI modules , power, Material handling, Oxygen Plant, Utilities etc. Responsible for grade planning, planning of shutdown activities & materials planning. b) Core member of PSM (process safety management) team. Successfully implemented PSM within the department. Prepared various SOPs & guided others for the same. c) Part of the team in successful commissioning of in house DC EAF (150 T capacity) Overall responsibilities shift activities to achieve safety, production, quality target.
