Job Title: HR Manager Aviation Sector Location: Gurgaon Job Type: Full-time Experience: 1015 years in HR, within the aviation, Candidates from FTO/Flight School background even ATO or sim center background will be given preference Please do not apply if you are not from the aviation background Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager with a strong background in the aviation industry to lead and support key HR functions, including talent acquisition, payroll management, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight along with a hands-on approach to manage people processes, ensure compliance, and support a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical aviation roles. Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and create effective sourcing strategies. Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top talent in the aviation sector. Manage onboarding, documentation, and orientation programs. Payroll Management Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with statutory requirements. Liaise with finance and external vendors to manage salary disbursements, reimbursements, and tax filings. Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other statutory requirements. HR Operations Handle employee lifecycle activities: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exit management, and full & final settlements. Maintain and update HR systems and employee records (HRIS). Manage attendance, leave tracking, and shift rosters (especially for crew/ground staff, if applicable). Address employee grievances and escalate where needed, ensuring timely resolution. Performance & Engagement Support implementation of performance management systems (PMS), appraisals, and KPI tracking. Drive employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and well-being efforts. Assist in managing compliance, audits, and HR-related documentation for regulatory purposes. Required Skills & Qualifications: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent degree. 1015 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 35 years in the aviation industry. Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll, and recruitment in a regulated environment. Excellent knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements. Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS tools, and payroll software (e.g., SAP, Darwinbox, GreytHR). Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to multitask and manage dynamic priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Attributes: Experience in managing HR functions for airline staff, crew, or airport operations teams. Familiarity with DGCA regulations and aviation-related HR compliance will be a plus. Exposure to multi-location operations or working with cross-functional HR teams.
