Job Overview Mehidpurwala is a fast-growing retail brand known for quality, people-first values, and innovation in the furniture retail space. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced HR professional to lead operations across our retail outlets and factory units. An ideal candidate would have a proven ability to set up HR processes and SOPs, manage the complete employee lifecycle, and foster a positive workplace culture. Prior exposure to employee performance management is a bonus. Key Responsibilities ■ HR Systems & SOP Development: Design, implement, and streamline HR policies, SOPs and standard processes. ■ Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee end-to-end HR processes, including onboarding, employee engagement, training, and exit formalities. ■ Payroll & Compliance: Manage payroll, statutory compliance, and HR records in compliance with labour laws and company policies. ■ Recruitment & Team Building: Support hiring and recruitment activities, conduct interviews, and ensure seamless induction of new hires. Opportunity to build an in-house HR team as needed is offered. ■ Performance & Engagement: Develop and monitor employee performance metrics & KPIs, support performance appraisals and feedback systems. ■ Exit Management: Handle exit formalities, clearances and settlements professionally, where needed. ■ Policy Implementation: Ensure HR policies are communicated, understood, and implemented across teams. Desired Candidate Requirements ✔■ Minimum 4 Years of Experience in HR Systems & Operations ✔■ Strong understanding of payroll, compliance & HR frameworks ✔■ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills ✔■ Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of building processes from scratch The job may involve occasional travel to ensure smooth HR operations across locations.
