Job Description: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Support and supervise the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences with attention to hospitality standards. Help manage staff schedules, attendance, and ensure proper shift coverage. Monitor service quality, customer satisfaction, and address guest feedback promptly and professionally. Assist in training new and existing staff, ensuring they are aware of operational procedures and customer service expectations. Support inventory management including stock checks, procurement coordination, and minimizing wastage. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across the restaurant. Help implement sales strategies such as promotions, up-selling, and cross-selling to achieve revenue targets. Handle day-to-day administrative tasks like reporting, cash management, and POS supervision. Act as a point of contact in the absence of the Restaurant Manager and maintain effective communication between kitchen, service, and management teams. Skills and Background Required: Education & Experience: Diploma or degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 4–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in fine dining or café settings. Leadership & Teamwork: Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead, train, and motivate staff while fostering a positive work environment. Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure guests receive attentive, personalized, and efficient service. Operational Knowledge: Understanding of restaurant workflows, POS systems, inventory management, and health & safety standards. Problem Solving & Adaptability: Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly, resolve conflicts, and adapt to fast-paced, customer-driven environments.
