Job profile of Director/ Senior Director (Temp WFH): This position would be heading Operations for India Location and overseeing Quality managing 3 locations and based would be out of Chennai. Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee the overall coding strategies to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across the organization. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Associate Directors, coding managers, supervisors, and specialists. Ensure proper training, development, and performance management. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all coding activities adhere to regulatory standards such as HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and other relevant coding and billing rules. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain high accuracy and reduce coding errors, impacting revenue cycle management and compliance. Policy Development: Create and update coding policies and procedures to align with industry standards and regulatory changes. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to optimize coding practices and support revenue cycle processes. Auditing and Monitoring: Conduct regular audits to identify coding discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Technology Management: Oversee the use of coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring appropriate utilization and data integrity. Training and Education: Develop ongoing training programs for coding staff and clinicians on coding updates, compliance, and best practices. Reporting: Provide leadership with regular reports on coding productivity, accuracy, compliance metrics, and revenue impact. Qualifications typically include: Extensive experience in medical coding, auditing, and compliance. Certification such as CCS (Certified Coding Specialist), CPC (Certified Professional Coder), or equivalent. Strong leadership and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and event management skills. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with HRIS and survey tools.
