Team Leadership and Development: Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and monitor team progress. Foster a collaborative team environment and encourage continuous improvement. 5. Quality and Safety Compliance: Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Implement corrective actions for any non-compliance or safety issues identified. 6. Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular project updates to clients and address any concerns promptly. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and maintain strong relationships to support future business. 7. Financial Management: Monitor project financials, including cost control and profitability. Track and report on project financials, including expenditures, revenue, and margin. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resources to maximize project profitability. 8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, plans, and progress reports. Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients as required. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all project activities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field. PMP certification is an advantage. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the MV switchgear industry or similar electrical engineering fields. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MV switchgear systems, power distribution, and electrical standards in Saudi Arabia. Project Management Skills: Proven experience managing large-scale projects with budgets, timelines, and multidisciplinary teams. Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: 1. Switchgear System Design Develop detailed electrical designs for MV switchgear systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. Provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation phases, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues. 5. Compliance and Standards Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and client-specific requirements, including IEC, ANSI, and relevant local standards. 6. Client Interaction and Support Participate in client meetings to understand requirements, present design concepts, and address technical queries. Provide engineering support for client inquiries, clarifying design details and ensuring alignment with client expectations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in electrical design, specifically with MV switchgear. Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, Microstation or equivalent. Strong understanding of MV switchgear components, power systems, and protection/control schemes. Skills and Competencies: Detail-oriented with a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, load calculations, and protection systems. Ability to perform complex calculations related to electrical systems, such as fault analysis, thermal management, and energy efficiency. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize designs. Knowledge of standards like IEC, IEEE, and ANSI for MV switchgear and related electrical equipment.
