The Hospital Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and vendors entering the facility. This role is responsible for warmly greeting patients, efficiently managing front-desk activities, coordinating appointments, handling incoming calls, and supporting the administrative functions of the hospital. Greet and direct patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner. Manage the check-in/check-out process for patients. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Answer and route incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally. Maintain the reception area in a clean and orderly manner. Verify patient information and update records accurately in the hospital management system. Handle patient inquiries and complaints with empathy and escalate when necessary. Coordinate with medical and administrative staff for smooth patient flow. Receive and sort incoming mail, deliveries, and courier packages. Collect co-pays and process billing transactions as required. Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.

Help patients with hygiene activities such as using the bathroom, bathing, brushing teeth, and dressing. Assist patients with meals by feeding them. Clean linen regularly. Monitor vital signs and report worrying symptoms to the RN. Provide and clean bedpans. Help patients with mobility problems to move around. Recording the vitals

Minimum 2 years of Experience Knowledge of patient Care in Emergency & Ward knowledge of IPD Medication Emergency Management Pre & Post procedure management Monitoring the vitals

Patient Care: Initial and ongoing assessment of patients' medical, physical, and psychosocial status. Monitoring patient progress, including vital signs, and adjusting treatment plans. Administering and supervising the use of life support systems like ventilators. Performing procedures like central line insertions or arterial line placements. Interpreting diagnostic tests and modifying treatment plans based on results. Emergency management Documentation and Communication: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
