In addition to patient monitoring, you will also be tasked with medication administration, including cardiac medications like anti-arrhythmics and vasopressors. Monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions, as well as managing IV drips, central lines, and infusion pumps, will be vital aspects of your role in ensuring patient safety and recovery. Your expertise in emergency response will be crucial as you respond promptly to code blue and cardiac arrest situations. Performing CPR, defibrillation, and assisting with intubation will be among the life-saving skills you will utilize.
