Job Description

Role Overview:

Medical Coding Associates

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze medical records and documents.
Assign appropriate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff for clarifications when required.
Prepare reports and update databases with coded information.

Education Qualification:

Life Science Graduates (B.Sc / M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, etc.)
MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BPT, BUMS, or equivalent medical/paramedical background.
Freshers can apply.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Attention to detail and accuracy.
Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Data Entry).
Good communication and ability to work in teams.
Certified Coders (CPC/CCA/CCS) preferred but not mandatory for freshers.
