Preferred candidate profile

• Clinical Care:

  RMOs are directly involved in managing in-patients, including admitting patients, taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, and ordering/interpreting investigations. They may also be involved in outpatient clinics, offering consultations under the supervision of senior doctors.

• Patient Management:

  RMOs are responsible for monitoring patients, tracking vital signs, and providing appropriate treatments, including administering medications and fluids.

• Emergency Response:

  They are trained to handle emergencies, providing resuscitation and life-saving interventions when needed.

• Collaboration:

  RMOs work closely with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.

• Documentation and Record Keeping:

  They are responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed medical records, including patient progress notes and treatment plans.

• Administrative Tasks:

  RMOs may also be involved in administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and ensuring appropriate follow-up care.

• Clinical Trials:

  RMOs may also be involved in clinical trials, serving as clinical advisors and overseeing the process.
