Timings: Monday to Friday (2-10 PM) Standard Operating Procedure for Medical Officers To attend to all associates walking into Occupational Health Centres and assess, classify and document detailed history: Vitals Pulse Rate, RR, BP, RBS, Weight, Height. Complaints Nature, Onset, Associated symptoms. Document personal, family and drug allergy history. If the complaint is identified to be communicable in nature or emergency medical condition, the medical officer is consulted and then the patient is advised to consult a specialized doctor and is asked to leave the office premises with immediate effect and the details of the issue to be communicated to HR department and documented. If any associate needs to be put under observation, the patient to be admitted in the observation room as required. The medical officer to validate data of OHC and checklists on a monthly basis in coordination with the paramedical staff, if present. If the complaint is complicated in nature then the doctor to consult for further course of action and suitable medicines for symptomatic relief is given to the patient. If the cause of the ailment is identified to be a resultant of activities / environment in the office premises, then it has to be noted as occupational hazard/occupational injury. To wear apron during all times, when present on duty. Doctors to be presentable (clean shaven at all times, shoes, formal attire) while on duty. To work in conjunction with Operations Team, UR Life for up gradation and quality control of healthcare services. To be reach the duty station on time. Delays will not be entertained. Medical officer to leave OHC only after handing over to the next Medical Officer in charge, if present. Any replacement in duty should be informed, 48 hrs prior to the day of leave. Failing to which, would lead to loss of pay.
