Medical Officer

Position Medical Doctor Qualification : MBBS Experience Full knowledge of assessment of medical insurance claims Minimum 2 years experience and presently continuing independent assessment of International / Domestic medical insurance claims with a General Insurance Company or Third Party Administrator. Role Purpose Independent participation in medical claims assessment and combined medical team participation in optimal delivery of medical assistance products of the company. Responsibilities Independent Management Travel Medical Claims Sound knowledge and complete understanding of terms and conditions of medical insurance policies of various insurers. Medical co-ordination through Operations of all cashless claims and all active hospitalized medical cases including verbal telephonic communication with patients doctors. Assessment of Cashless and Reimbursement Travel Medical Claims Application of Sublimits to medical claims. Preparation of Denial Letters and Response to Representations. Participation in Medical Assistance in co-ordination with Operations Hospitalisation referral and co-ordination . Verbal Medical Communication and preparation of medical report. Medical monitoring until discharge from hospital keeping medical director posted. Procurement of travel recommendations , medical certificates Participation in Medical Concierge Services Corporate Medical Solutions. Chronic Disease Management. Medical Second Opinion Services Medical Tourism -- Travel for Treatment Abilities Basic Computer Skills . Proficiency in Basic Microsoft Applications Good Organizational and Time Management Skills .
