Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Review patient medical records for accuracy and completeness.
Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM codes following CMS HCC coding guidelines.
Understand and adhere to risk adjustment documentation and coding requirements.
Meet assigned productivity and quality benchmarks.
Participate actively in training sessions and assessments.
Collaborate with team leads and auditors to resolve coding discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data security policies.

Skills Required:

Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Willingness to learn HCC coding and risk adjustment methodologies.
Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of ICD-10-CM is a plus.
