Job Description

  • Updating case sheets at allotted ward level on day to day basis
  • Issue approximate bill slip and approximate bill information through floor managers to the attendant from time to time for collection of advances.
  • Cross check while up-dating records for bed transfer and bed allotment done on computer, as per the room category like single room to sharing to triple to NICU/PICU by verifying on the case sheet.
  • Prepare package bills and monitor number of days, exclusive and inclusive services beyond packages.
  • Charge professional / consultation charges on Dr. wise and specialty wise without any deviation and mistakes (Dr. Name / Amount / Specialty ).
  • While preparing final bill, as per the case sheet information, ensure all charges are charged, noting is left out.

· While discharging the patient, cross check personally the advances received form the patients and after due confirmation, from attendant prepare final bill.

· Advances are received and posted on patient’s name IP number wise.

· OT charges, bedside procedure, oxygen, ventilator, monitor, GRBS, procedure charges and other charges etc. are charged based on respective billing record as the investigations, and procedure are charged at department level, the same to be cross checked while preparing the final bill.

· Bill the surgeon and other professional fees with the consultant for all surgical cases, procedure and medical cases as per approval.

  • Approved concessions can be given policy, other concessions are authorized only by the COO, and directors these concessions to be posted with remarks and keep approved / signed bill copy intact with office copy.

Bills to be filed with the following:

final bill with approximate bill copy

OT consumable sheet

Pharmacy confirmation slip

  • Credit bills are informed to credit billing for eligibility amount / approved amount Difference in final and approval amount, if noticed to be collected from the attendant.
  • Maintaining departmental log book, package tariffs files and circular file
  • Advising bed transfers, attendants room charges, non availability of bed, signature on package consent form etc to the patient care executives and nursing staff from time to time.
  • OT sheet, follow – up forms and OT pharmacy variations to be cross checked with OT technician and other OT staff.
  • To complete discharge process as soon as possible does the up-dation of allocated beds on day to day basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
