Medical Assistant or LPN - Allendale

Role Overview: You will be joining BayCare as a Medical Assistant or LPN, where your passion for providing exceptional customer service to the community will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: - Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments. - Take patient histories, perform routine lab procedures, and prepare specimens for lab transport. - Follow up on test orders, report results to providers and patients, provide patient education materials, maintain medical equipment, and order clinical supplies. - Create and maintain electronic medical records (EMR) for patients. - Adhere to all OSHA and CLIA regulations. - Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Must have an approved Medical Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire or provide proof of an active license/certification. - Alternatively, must be an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician), Paramedic, or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). - High School diploma or equivalent is required. - Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
