As a Test Engineer at Gainwell, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of healthcare administration products that are essential for millions of patients. Your role will involve planning, scheduling, and managing test resources, as well as leading formal test execution phases on larger projects. By defining test cases, creating integration and system test scripts, and executing functional tests, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products. You will be expected to maintain defect reports, update them following regression testing, and adhere to established quality methodologies. Additionally, your responsibilities will include understanding the functional design of the software products being tested, collaborating with technical teams to address ambiguous areas, and applying industry knowledge to determine whether system components meet business specifications. With 4 to 6 years of overall work experience, you should have proficiency in manual/functional testing, particularly in the healthcare and Medicaid domains. Familiarity with SQL, ALM, Defect Management, and MS Dynamics CRM application testing is preferred. The ability to write test plans, test cases, execute tests, track defects, and possess good communication skills are essential for this role. This position may require working in an office environment and occasional evening or weekend work.
