Media Planner/Buyer

Job Description (JD):

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Media Planner and Buyer to join our team in Chennai. The role involves creating and executing effective media plans across digital and traditional platforms, ensuring campaigns meet client goals and deliver strong ROI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing media campaigns and will be responsible for coordinating with external media agencies and vendors to ensure smooth execution, reporting, and optimization of campaigns.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and partner agencies to align media strategies with brand objectives and campaign timelines.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in media planning and/or buying
• Proficiency in digital advertising platforms.
• Familiarity with traditional media (TV, print, radio, OOH)
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Excellent analytical skills with experience using campaign performance tools
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and budgets simultaneously
• Knowledge of the Chennai/South India media market
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Tamil is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
