Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. Maker Lab's cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies from measurement & analytics to content production. As a Media & Growth Marketing Manager for our technology client, you will be responsible for collaborating with APAC-based and regional media agencies and internal stakeholders to manage ongoing media projects and campaigns across key performance and direct response programmes. You will be the day-to-day consultant on media strategy for the programs, focusing on channel, audience, and ad format strategy, best practices, and optimization to achieve program efficiency goals. In this role, you will drive media strategy for marketing initiatives across multiple markets in APAC, with a specific emphasis on SEM, display, and potentially app advertising within the gaming industry. You will serve as the primary point of contact for media related to these programs and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as the marketing team and media partners to brainstorm, develop, and launch media tests and optimization strategies. Additionally, you will be involved in planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end campaigns, including user segmentation, content creation, design, testing, deployment, and performance analysis. To excel in this position, you should possess a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital media marketing. A strong working knowledge of key performance media channels and formats across platforms like Google, Microsoft, and major social media platforms is essential. Your experience with media planning, identifying testing opportunities, and optimizing strategies is crucial. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with marketing teams and media agencies. Being data-driven and having the ability to interpret data to make metrics-driven decisions is key. Moreover, staying updated on evolving media trends, technology advancements, and the competitive landscape will enable you to bring new opportunities to fruition. Experience in managing media in other markets such as Japan and Korea is advantageous. Proficiency in verbal and written English communications and presentation skills is a must, and fluency in another Asian language would be beneficial for handling projects across APAC.
