As a Media Analyst at Target, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Roundel Media Team to meet the needs of Brand Category Marketing and Target Media Network businesses. Your primary focus will be on analyzing campaign performance, creating optimization recommendations, and evolving bid strategies. This position involves managing day-to-day tasks related to campaign setup and management, collaborating closely with internal teams and Target's agencies to enhance marketing outcomes. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for digital media, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities: - Understand the campaign requirements of our media vendor and ensure alignment with campaign objectives. - Collaborate with Media Analysts, Activation, and Product teams to ensure seamless workflow and achievement of vendor goals. - Analyze the Media Plan and ensure accurate campaign setup. - Effectively manage campaign budgets and allocate resources across different media channels. - Provide optimization strategies across various campaign channels like T.com, display, mobile, video, social, and search, considering creative and audience optimization tactics. - Monitor media campaign trends, evaluate performance, and suggest optimization tactics to enhance campaign efficiency. - Work with internal teams to translate campaign performance insights into actionable recommendations. - Analyze campaign reporting using various media tools and servers such as DFP, DCM, FB, Operative One, DBM, YieldEx, and Pinterest. - Demonstrate advanced knowledge of DSPs like DBM, Appnexus, Mediamath, Liveramp, Tuebmogul, and Brightroll, and understand DMP workflows and audience segmentation. - Availability to work during US Day time (CST) for specific periods during the year. Requirements: - 2-7 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on analytics or media execution. - Strong understanding of the Display Advertising Ecosystem and experience with ad networks, ad servers, rich media vendors, and social platforms. - Knowledge of retargeting, affinity models, and hands-on experience with DMP platforms is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Excellent communication skills, quick learner, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. - Solution-focused with a positive attitude, effective time management, and high self-motivation. Campaign Planning and Validation: Review and validate plans from stakeholders and coordinate as needed. Prepare a Material Requisition (MR) based on detailed plans for various channels and publications. Liaise with relevant teams to resolve any discrepancies in Purchase Order (PO) details. Campaign Creation and Execution: Cross-check vendors for each channel or publication before updating the system. Generate Media Plans with schedules, estimates, and Release Orders (RO). Process RO generation after securing client approval. Ensure accurate and mandatory updates of GST and POS numbers for all monthly ROs, and share the ROs with vendors. In-flight Management: Track the login status of activities from all channels and publications. Maintain meticulous records to support revenue validation and audit readiness. Prepare a liability sheet for all plan revenue/POs and maintain trackers for all media activities for financial tracking and reporting. Billing: Follow up on logs fortnightly to keep the system updated for timely billing. Monitor each spot with relevant TAM IDs . Follow up with TAM/channels for missing data. Raise disputes with channels if spots are not aired as per the RO/deal, or if there are discrepancies in time bands or duration. Coordinate with the Billing team to resolve issues based on exception reports, and follow up on revised vendor invoices, credit notes, or channel recordings. Share all supporting documents like client approval, estimate copies, and POs with the Finance/Commercial Team to support billing. Remove confirmed junk/unwanted spots after confirmation from Finance Plus. Monitor digital activities daily after receiving billing instructions (BI) and reports from the Business/Activation team. Resolve vendor queries regarding billing and disputes on a day-to-day basis. Follow up regularly to ensure billing is closed on time.
