Job Summary:

We are seeking a confident, articulate, and dynamic Media Anchor to deliver news, stories, and interviews across our broadcast or digital media platform. The Media Anchor will serve as the on-camera face of our content, responsible for presenting information in a clear, engaging, and professional manner. This role requires strong journalistic instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present news, interviews, and special reports on-air or via live streams
• Read scripts and ad-lib when necessary with clarity, energy, and professionalism
• Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and correspondents, both in-studio and remotely
• Work closely with producers and editorial teams to write and review scripts
• Verify facts, sources, and information before broadcast
• Engage with the audience through live interaction or social media (if applicable)
• Maintain a consistent on-screen presence and professional appearance
• Participate in promotional events, public appearances, or community engagement as required
• Stay updated with current events, media trends, and industry developments

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a media/news anchor, reporter, journalist, or presenter
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong command of the language used for broadcasting.
• Comfortable on camera and able to handle live reporting with confidence
• Familiarity with newsroom workflows, teleprompters, and studio equipment
• Excellent research, interviewing, and writing skills
• Ability to remain composed under pressure or during breaking news situations
• Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field
• Experience in digital-first media or multi-platform content delivery (TV + web + social)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
