About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Check the medical admissibility of claims by confirming diagnosis and treatment details. 2. Scrutinize claims in line with the terms and conditions of the insurance policy. 3. Interpret ICD coding, evaluate co-pay details, classify non-medical expenses, and verify room tariff, capping details, open billing vs. package differentiation, etc. 4. Understand the process differences between PA and RI claims and verify details accordingly. 5. Verify required documents for claim processing and raise an IR in case of insufficiency. 6. Coordinate with the LCM team in case of higher billing and with the provider team for tariff-related clarifications. 7. Approve or deny claims as per policy terms and conditions within the defined TAT. 8. Handle escalations and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
