Position Summary This position will be part of Quality Team responsible for Electrical/Electronic components analysis & trouble shooting. Focusing on reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) associated with Electrical/Electronics & hydraulic components. Conducting regular audits of electrical panel suppliers, tracking improvements, and generating monthly reports. Work You’ll Do Working closely with design, testing and assembly teams to prepare machines for trouble shooting. Leading initiatives to resolve significant issues related to electrical/electronic & hydraulic components to drive business improvements. Conducting regular meetings with key suppliers to develop long-term solutions to ongoing issues. Engaging in discussions with service and customer support teams to implement countermeasures for electrical/electronic & hydraulic issues encountered in the field. Collaborating with design and assembly teams to develop actions based on feedback from suppliers regarding identified issues. Visit at customer/Supplier end to identify the root cause of component failure & provide solution. Establishing a clear process for documenting component failures by creating failure forms. Ensuring the timely closure of GEMBA open issues within three months of receiving failed parts. Focusing on reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) associated with electrical/electronic & hydraulic components. Conducting regular audits of electrical panel suppliers, tracking improvements, and generating monthly reports. Minimizing downtime caused by electrical issues during testing and improving the First Time Right (FTR) percentage for the electrical panel and harness teams. Investigate defect & failure in electrical/electronic & hydraulic components & identify the root cause ensuring the CAPA actions. New product & supplier development activity. Failed part disposition (Generate PDF form) through the system to generate the requirement & co-ordinate with supplier & buyer. Electrical/Electronic & Hydraulic components receipt inspection to ensure the specified requirement. Generate documentations like 8D, 5 why & 7 QC tools & FMEA of failed part to support internal & external customers. Verify the product as per the standards requirement. Team This position will be part of Quality Team based at Ahmedabad Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechatronics Engineering with 8-12 Years of experience in Quality control in machines manufacturing industries or industries providing testing, inspection & certification solution. Preferred Qualifications Machine safety standard experience will be preferrable.
