Mechanical Surveyor (Quality Inspection)

Qualification: Only Degree Candidates with 12 Year min. experience (Experience in Steel Plant Mandatory)

Tenure: Minimum 2 Years project with Extension

Role: Permanent role

SCOPE OF WORK:

The service to be provided by the Consultant for Site supervision, Quality assurance shall include but not limited to the following:

1. Study of approved Construction Drawings for Structural work at above referred Project Site sand thereby report to Structural Project - In Charge about the discrepancy, if any.
2. Verification of fabrication drawings prepared and submitted by Structural Agencies, providing comments with reference to the Design Drawings/approved Construction Drawings.
3. QA/QC Inspection Engineers are also expected to visit fabrication yard/workshop vendor premises at any part of India based on need for which traveling, accommodation and local conveyance shall be reimbursed.
4. Fabrication site visit, verification/review of quality assurance plan, providing corrections/improvement plans and certification at vendor sites, if necessary.
5. Review of quality formats Checklist and Monitor proper documentation of the same.
6. Supervision of all kinds of Tests of Welding/ND'T Reports and submit the test results in prescribed format in pursuance to the relevant IS Codes and Structural Engineering Construction Specifications.
7. Monitoring of Quality Planning and Quality Assurance at the Project site and reporting the deviations, certification after rectification on daily basis.
8. Inspection of receipt of material with respect to quality of packing, storage, transit damage and reporting the same.
9. Random testing of input materials of structural sections to verify the sections are used asper approved drawings
10. Checking and approvals of Erection Scheme prior to start with Erection work at Sites. Checking and certification of Contractor's Bills against work done, as per Drawing and
11. Submission of Daily Progress Report, in the prescribed format, of Structural Work done giving all information, as required by the Engineer n Charge.
12. Furnish details of the Machinery, Tools to be deployed at the Project Sites.
13. Provide all necessary work mentioned under the "Technical Specifications mentioned vide Structural Engineering Construction Specifications, Review adequacy of Contractors manpower and other resources for execution of site work as per the approved schedule.
14. Participate regular project review meetings to assess quality and safety etc and advice corrective action if any.
15. Make recommendations to improve quality of works at site during execution.

Final Checking of all works w.r.t to the desired quality and recommending these for acceptance.
